November is National Diabetes Awareness Month

To join the worldwide effort to bring more awareness to Diabetes in November, i-SENS USA is participating in the community to learn about diabetes and help others to see and better understand what it looks like to live a life with it.

Learning starts with listening. So, we would invite you to hear the stories of everyday life with diabetes. Follow us on Facebook for our weekly video update November 2021.

According to the International Diabetes Federation: Diabetes Atlas, 1 in 11 (463 million) adults in the world were living with diabetes in 2019 and is expected to rise about 25% by 2030. Also 1 in 2 adults with diabetes remain undiagnosed (that is 232 million). Also CDC estimates that more than 1 in 3 American adults (88 million people) have prediabetes and 84% of them do not know they have it.

Blood Glucose Self Monitoring

Blood sugar testing is one of many fundamental components of diabetes care. A simple blood sugar test can also tell you if you have prediabetes or not.
